Founded in Paris in 2023 by AKKADIAN SAS and Julia Smith, the company draws on more than 25 years of international experience to help turn creative ideas into coherent products, brands, and viable market propositions.

The name INOVICO brings together innovation, vision and cooperation, three principles that define both its purpose and its way of working.

Julia Smith, Fashion Creative Director and Founder of INOVICO brings the depth of an international career spanning design, product, marketing and creative direction

My work combines a fashion designer’s eye with the strategic perspective of a creative director. My expertise in design thinking connects creative vision, product mastery and operational experience within the international fashion and luxury business.

Creative Foundation:

• Formal training in art and fashion design, with early award recognition and an exhibition at the National Gallery and the Design Centre in London.

• Early editorial fashion experience at Harper’s & Queen, part of the Hearst group.

• A designer’s understanding of proportion, colour, material, silhouette, detail, image and vision.

• Experience across womenswear, haute couture, menswear, accessories, leather goods, footwear, knitwear, activewear, equestrian sportswear, and lifestyle.

International Career:

•. A career shaped by Paris, London and Milan, complemented by professional experience in New York and Tokyo.

• Identified and evaluated international fashion brands for the Japanese market, taking selected opportunities through to commercial agreements at Itochu.

• Ten years living and working in Milan and more than 25 years of professional activity in Italy.

• Professional experience in design, marketing, product and creative direction at Whistles, Trussardi, Itochu, Marithé + François Girbaud, Fursac and Givenchy (LVMH).
